What's new in Q-Shop v1.2
Since the initial release of version 1.1 new additions and corrections have been made to Q-Shop in order to make it easier to configure and use, more powerful, faster and more robust.
After many new features and some extra, QuadComm is proud to release Q-Shop v1.2. Next you can see a list of some of the additions available in version 1.2 and new from the initial release of 1.1.
General
- Extra error correction and data validation in the user and administrator interface.
- More shipping options (added during v1.1 but not on the initial release).
- Improved performance.
- New "User Friendly" additions.
User Interface
- Improved user management with new functions: Delete and Edit users.
- Addition of "User Comments" on new orders.
- Improved secondary currency formatting. Now primary and secondary currencies use masks (e.g. $# USD) to display the prices.
- Improved performance in categories browsing.
- There is no longer limitation in the level of subsections available (it was 4 before).
- Products can have pictures from two sides of the product. Users can turn the picture with just one click.
- Users can now display a printable invoice.
- Products on offer now display the percentage of saving.
- Users can now empty their shopping cart, and delete products with a single click.
- Displaying the cart now keeps the sections tree in the same state it was.
- Adding a product that was already in the cart now increases the quantity instead of adding a new line.
- The link from the cart to continue shopping now returns the user to the section it was before without keeping quantities entered by the user.
- Section now can display products in two different formats. A list of products that can be added by a single click on an individual button or a common button for all the products (for addition of several products at the same time).
- Improved product search. Users can now search for more than one word (all or any) and in all or in an specific section.
- Beta versions of modules for credit card processing: Authorize.Net and Datacash.
- During the checkout, users can specify whether they want to receive e-mails or not.

- State management of orders.

- Additional data validation when adding or editing products and sections.
- Addition of several products or sections takes now less mouse clicks.
