What's new in Q-Shop v3.5

With Q-Shop version 3.5 QuadComm delivers a significantly improved online shop system. This version includes extensive changes to reliability, performance, functionality and shop design. The changes have been so significant that almost all files were changed in some degree making this a historic release.

Changes included in Q-Shop v3.5 include:

Shop look:

• Complete new look and feel with a more professional design using themes.
• New tabbed navigation layout. Tabs are also dynamically generated.
• Better layout and navigation.
• Support for themes or skins for easier customization including several themes included for free.
• New SEO (Search Engine Optimization) features like meta tags and keywords per product and section and inclusion of category and product names in page titles.

New features:

• New configuration parameters and more are now configured directly though the Control Panel.
• New product promotion spots in home page (new and featured products) (Pro only).
• Introduction of Gift Certificates (Pro only).
• Dynamically generated site map.
• Printable order packing slips in Control Panel (Pro only).
• Completely revisited and extended user manual.
• Improved Wish List (known as My List before).
• Better support for printable product pages.
• Automatic handling of product images not found (no more broken images).
• Better and clearer log in at checkout.
• Page to browse root categories for easier navigation.
• New breadcrumb trail navigation (Home > section > subsection).
• New about us page.
• Auto-resizable zoom image pop-ups.

Other improvements:

• Improved error logging.
• Some bug fixes.
• Performance and reliability improvements.
