August 16, 1999.- QuadComm, Inc. has released the real-time UPS cost calculation available for Q-Shop customers. This new module has been added free to version 1.1 of Q-Shop.

With this module it is possible to calculate the shipping cost of orders directly from UPS. This calculation uses the weight of the products in the customer's shopping cart, the destination of the products (wherever in the world) and the type of shipping that the user can select. It also provides the user with the option of adding extra insurance that will cover orders over $100 up to $50,000 USD.

However, due to limitations from UPS the origin of parcels must always be the U.S.A.
