October 6, 1999.- QuadComm, Inc. is proud to announce the new release of version 1.2 of Q-Shop, the complete storefront system that makes implementing a shop on-line easy.

There are many solutions for e-commerce on the Internet, but either they are very expensive or they are too complex or with few features. Traditional solutions go from just shopping carts written in Perl and complex to understand to over $1000 complete solutions with too many functions or too complex to maintain.

QuadComm launched Q-Shop in order to make the on-line shop deployment easy and affordable. This integrated ecommerce solution provides not only a shopping cart system but also the whole catalogue browsing system and user management making it a complete solution.

Q-Shop allows shop owners to easily manage the shop using the administration web site allowing them, for instance, to easily review orders, track user purchases, get up-to-date user history.

Q-Shop has been fully developed using Active Server Pages (ASP) technology without the use of external components or extra software (.dll or .exe files). This means that customers receive the whole source code that allows them to modify the system easily avoiding the classical limitation of other systems.
